NFL Week 7 injuries: Who are the key players ruled out for the weekend?
The Arizona Cardinals defeated the New Orleans Saints 42-34 to kick off Week 7 in the NFL, and now we have a full Sunday schedule to look forward to. Dak Prescott, the Cowboys’ starting quarterback against the Lions after missing five games due to a thumb injury, is certain to make the biggest news. Other noteworthy matchups include the Jaguars’ matchup with the 5-1 Giants, the Colts’ attempt to pass the Titans in the AFC South, and the Chiefs’ comeback attempt against the 49ers. Just the top of the iceberg, really.
Unavoidably, each new week of sports brings a fresh round of injuries that require our attention. Teams have announced their Week 7 game statuses and final injury reports as practice for the week comes to a close. Each of those reports is shown here, along with a breakdown of some of the most serious injuries.

Mark Andrews (knee), Rashod Bateman (WR), Ben Cleveland (OL), Justin Houston (OLB), Morgan Moses (OL), Marcus Peters (CB), and Patrick Ricard (FB) are all injured (knee) QUESTIONABLE
Clowney was limited during the final two practices after not practicing on Wednesday. Rochell was restricted on Friday after missing the previous two days’ injury report.
According to reports, Dobbins is anticipated to have arthroscopic knee surgery the next week, which would keep him out of action for 4-6 weeks. On Friday, Andrews, Bateman, Cleveland, Moses, and Peters all participated in light practice. Ricard missed the first two workouts but participated fully on Friday.

Christian McCaffrey was traded away, and the Panthers won’t have Mayfield for Sunday either. Jacob Eason will serve as PJ Walker’s backup at the quarterback position. Elflein has missed three practices in a row due to a hip issue, so he probably won’t play.
Giants at Jaguars (-3)

Jaguars:
The Giants will be without Golladay and Toney for yet another week, leaving New York with few options at wide receiver. The primary wide receiver options for New York on Sunday are anticipated to be Richie James, David Sills, and Darius Slayton. Ojulari, who has only participated in two games so far this season, will sit out his third straight contest. After participating fully in practice on Friday, Saquon Barkley (shoulder) was not listed as injured.
Titans at Colts (-2.5)

Although Leonard passed Indianapolis’ concussion protocol, the Colts are letting him rest for an additional week so that he can recover. Jonathan Taylor (shoulder) is expected to play, while Nyheim Hines has passed the concussion protocol, according to head coach Frank Reich. The Colts think he’ll participate.
Bud Dupree (hip), who has participated fully in practice all week, appears to be able to play for Tennessee on Sunday, thus the Titans have another minimal injury report. Cunningham will be out for the fourth straight game.
Dolphins at Steelers (-7)
WR, Steelers Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring) is doubtful, Steven Sims (hamstring) is out, and CB James Pierre (knee, hip) is QUESTIONABLE

Sims will not play this Sunday after returning a kickoff 89 yards last Sunday in the Buccaneers’ victory. After participating fully in practice on Thursday, Witherspoon was given restrictions on Wednesday and Friday. Pierre had some restrictions throughout the last two practices despite not beginning the week with an ailment.
